 Les Argilles is a contemporary ceramic brand born at the intersection of more than two decades of accumulated experience with clay. The foundations of this journey were laid in 2001 in İzmir, where its founder received formative training from Mehmet Tüzüm Kızılcan, gaining a solid technical grounding and a deep understanding of form, proportion, and material.

Its aesthetic sensibility has been further shaped through a years-long friendship with Alev Ebüzziya Siesbye — a relationship enriched by shared books, exhibition visits, and sincere artistic conversations. This influence is acknowledged as part of a natural artistic exchange, without implying endorsement.

At the core of Les Argilles lies an aesthetic where the natural colour, texture, and presence of clay take the lead. Surfaces are matte; forms are unembellished, balanced, and calm. Each piece gives space to the authenticity of the material, embracing a soft, understated elegance.
